"President Donald Trump" is a terrifying concept — that's the driving force behind Hillary Clinton's new ad against the GOP nominee. The one-minute video plays Trump's own words criticizing war heroes, people with disabilities, Mexicans, black people, and women while showing images of people who fit the descriptions. It ends with Trump's statements about the need for nuclear weapons and how he loves war before flashing four simple but powerful words across the screen: "We are not him."
"Under a Trump presidency, Americans are divided by their gender, race and creed. Women are diminished to a number and their consent is no matter," wrote the Clinton campaign in a press release about the ad. "African Americans live in poverty with no jobs, no education, no future. Muslims are prone to terrorism, worthy of our suspicion and must be tracked. People with disabilities are stigmatized. Veterans aren't strong. Immigrants are criminals and rapists who must be shipped back where they came from, regardless of the cost or number of families torn apart."
With just five days left until the election, Clinton is doing all she can to remind the country of Trump's dangerous demeanor.
